This is the fourth video in a 10 part series on the CAD/CAM and CNC process using Autodesk Inventor as the design tool, CamBam as the CAM tool for machining operations, and the greenBull CNC machine to fabricate the parts.
In this fourth video, I demonstrate a way to get properties and dimensions from another part of an assembly for use in a completely different part. This is a really powerful feature in Autodesk Inventor. This allows the parts to maintain the same dimension even when one of the parts has changed with a dimension that has been shared.
