This is the fifth video in a 10 part series on the CAD/CAM and CNC process using Autodesk Inventor as the design tool, CamBam as the CAM tool for machining operations, and the greenBull CNC machine to fabricate the parts.
In this fifth video, I demonstrate another way to get properties and dimensions from a tool or environment completely outside of the Autodesk Inventor application. Probably he most powerful feature for Inventor is the ability to use cells from an Excel worksheet. You can tie the measurements in the parts of your assembly with cells from Excel worksheets to change the overall parametric measurements and form of the entire assembly.
I will also show how to use the hole command under the 3d model tab
